Bernett Galleries was started in 1997. I already had over 20 years of experience making hand made fine gifts in a variety of different products, from tables to jewelry boxes.
It was during this time that my father was diagnosed with cancer. He was given 6 weeks to live. My father was a remarkable and responsible man. He stayed strong and was determined not to be a burden to any of us during his remaining days with us. It was his wish to be cremated. He asked me if I would be willing to make him a Cremation Urn. How could I refuse? My father loved to spend his summer days golfing. " The Golfer" Urn on this site was created for that reason. I take great pride in knowing that my own father's ashes are in my first urn. Today it is still my most popular request.
After people saw the Urn at the funeral, and in speaking with others in the months that followed I was getting more and more requests for unique Cremation Urns. I stopped making my other gifts and worked entirely on creating beautiful tiled Cremation Urns. Then as luck would have it. One of my cats "boo" passed away. It was then that I created the Tiled Pet Urn with the picture in front.
That was many years ago. Since then I have created many new and unique Tiled Cremation Urns. Many are sold at Funeral Homes, Cemeteries, and Religious stores. The Urns on this site were designed for there beauty and everlasting style. I hope that you will find one that will bring you loving memories of the one you lost for years to come.
